Alliances
While Chain On Top is ultimately a war for one chain to dominate, alliances can shift the balance of power. Working together — even temporarily — can be the difference between survival and defeat.
⚡ Current State: Soft Alliances
Teams can agree not to attack each other, focusing efforts elsewhere.
Coordinated attacks on the same Hub reduce the defender’s chance of holding, while still not threatening each other's liquidity.
Alliances can be used to:
Eliminate hated rivals.
Target runaway leaders before they snowball out of reach.
🔮 Future: Formal Alliances
In future updates, alliances will evolve deeper:
Teams will be able to split captured liquidity amongst themselves.
Shared spoils creating stronger incentives for long-term partnerships.
Add layers of trust, betrayal, and diplomacy to the game.
🎯 Why It Matters
Alliances make Chain On Top more than a numbers game. They add politics, coordination, and betrayal — tools that can topple stronger chains or protect smaller ones until the time is right.
👉 With alliances, your enemy’s enemy can become your best weapon.
